Plateau - Runescape Pure League

First things first, congratulations to Element (Finn, Doyph, Giga, Wessel, Jake, Runs, Andreas) on winning our first tournament - their video can be found here.


With our first formal tournament being a huge success, being one of the most entertaining tournaments to both watch and play in quite some time, we wanted to again push the bar and do different again to try and bring the community together.
Instead of the normal tournaments where some matches would be predetermined, we wanted to put together an event where it really felt like anyone interested in playing could have an impact on their team and have most things be evenly matched as they can be.
Everything down to the premade team identities is done to encourage putting aside all things outside of the league and playing for something independent of any other activities. Fun and competition are the focus.

8 captains draft their team (6 each for rosters of 7) from a pool of players that register from all over the community in a streamed draft, then navigate a 2-3 week regular season where every team plays each other once (best of 5 rounds).
"Regular season" matters, with the top 2 seeds moving onto the playoffs with a first round bye, while the bottom 2 seeds won't even make it into the playoffs.
Playoffs are single elimination, best of 5 rounds.
At least half of the regular season matches will be streamed on our twitch, with the entirety of the playoffs being streamed.
Teams will fight for a current prize pool of 400m, but we're actively looking for ways to get it to 1b+ by the finals to match everyone's effort. (Sponsorship opportunities for server and stream media are available, please contact me if you're interested)

We thank Sharkbrew for allowing us to cross-promote to raise awareness and hopefully encourage more people to register.
Our hopes is that this is a fun way for not only existing players to have a bit of consistent action to start off the summer, but for players that don't get as much time in environments where they are encouraged to improve to do so as well.

Sunday, January 30, 2021; Fatality massed up peaking at around 60+ members for our weekly P2P PK Trip. Another winning weekend for Fatality all around. Forcing our enemies to use all their resources and attempt to team on us. Still the 1v3s and 1v4s are nothing we can't handle. Getting clears on apex multiple times today and absolutely make Adhi lose his mind at Fo Hq. Both Clans are scared to 1v1 and its obvious why. Clearing Fo in 6 seconds to end their trip today after a forced 1v1. Ironic because thats exactly how they started their trip.

Fatality vs Final Ownage 
Fatality massed up 60 shooters of the rip and waited patiently for fo to enter the wilderness. When they finally did we logged in on them from singles. Giving them no where to run we forced them to run through multi and got an full clear. Adhi lost his mind and after we telled up apex shitters logged in a minute later. I guess they missed fo's first message.. Outplayed once again antifi.
Fatality vs Bp
Fatality logged in at gdz hoping fo would stay but their alliance had been fully cleared so we stayed to fight Bp. Our little dutchies put up a good effort but the quality of Fatality forced them to just use mains and we aren't going to make our members fight mains. Gg Blunt Purez was fun as always. Easy For Fatality.
Fatality vs Final Ownage 
Our little pigeons decided they were going to sit in level 7 wild to avoid us. Those idiots didn't realize they were in a PvP world however. Logging in right on top of them we watched these pigeons flock to safety. Our ice barrages were just to much and they kissed the floor. Taking a Toxic Staff and 2x AGS from our victims today. Was a difficult day once again for Fo.

A lot of people are crying about mains for saturdays and yes it is an issue. But then why are there still only the 3 clans ( fatality, rage, and terror ) showing up competing against one another in cwa to substitute for what used to be wilderness fights? What is stopping the likes of zenith, fo, ly, apex from trying to actively participate in a different section of the game to help sustain its enjoyment. It’s unfortunate that there are still so many who don’t want to actively try to bring pures together to actually compete against one another.
 
Soon enough sundays will be just as bad and then you’d all rather try to get cringe spams in the wild than again trying to find alternatives to getting events and action.

Fatality and Rage destroyed our rivals and decided to get some clean CWA action while our victims sat on the sidelines. It was a very hard fought battle from both sides! Fatality edged out the 3rd round win securing the victory for the FT50s! Not done yet and happy to be the only 2 clans to be doing anything pvp related today our good friends over at Rage decided to do a round of Knockout to end the day!

October 17, 2021; Fatality massed up peaking at around 41 members for our weekly F2P Trip. Instead of having multiple short fights that get crashed shortly after they started, we had some great long lasting fights - thanks for the action Rage and goodfight. 

Whilst Terror and Legacy were fighting we AC'd their fight at east bandits. Rage tried to crash them but we cut them off and immediately got on top of them aggressively with our scims. The fight moved to the bandits teleport spot to the west side of bandits. With us fighting Rage and Terror sniping the fight from behind. As the fight kept moving up into higher wilderness levels we proceeded to drop piles that both clans started hitting the fight from single to multi. So we ran back to the bandit teleport spot where we started fighting Rage again who had then gained some opts gain. We pushed them into the bandit camp where we dominated the fight again until it was crashed by mains. 

We set up with Rage at Sperm Hill. After rushing Rage we held our ground on the hill, after a little while the fight moved towards ghost hut. We kept ranging Rage killing off their stragglers inside of us first after hitting their main group. This gave us an edge which we exploited to the fullest. We got on top of Rage and pushed them towards CA where we continued to dominate the fight. When the fight was about to end mains crashed it so all parties simply dipped. 


 

Sounds like a lot of projecting from an alliance that has 40vs40 2v2s in clanwars on Saturdays 👺

Sunday, October 3, 2021; Fatality massed up peaking at around 60 pure elites for our weekly P2p PK Trip. As like most every other P2p Sunday this year we absolutely dominated everyone who dared share the battlefield with us. Apex decided to not avoid today and we reminded them why they should avoid the #1 P2p Clan of the decade. Victory for Fatality.

-Fatality vs BP/Cluster FT. Apex Clear #1
Started out our #1 p2p Sunday trip with a setup PKRI vs  BP that turned into a cluster with clean action for well over 30 minutes. Very solid action and boneyard luckily for BP once they started losing ground on the fight Rage came to join the party and It became a very competitive cluster. The fight moved to Corp and then from Corp we heard our little sardines were near sperm pretending they knew what they were doing today. Apex was cleared of all their pures and sent to the graveyard over and over until they needed to log into mains to try to stay competitive. After Solid action for about 30 minutes and half our clan still on their first life we didn't want to stick around for the mains and went and grabbed a bank. Victory for Fatality.

Found out about a fight @GDZ and decided we wanted a piece of the action. When we first tele'd up we made quick work of the Ly and made our way over to new gate where we met Bp and soon after Rage. With the amount of quality in Fatality these days we were bullied both clans for a little under 1 hour not making it very hard on ourselves to do so. The Fight ended up going east to new gate where Rage, Bp, and Fatality all continued with solid action. Apex joined in on the action a little late and once again blinded by their own ego they couldn't compete in the pure scene for the 3rd time on this P2p Sunday. Apex was forced to logout of pures for the rest of the trip and try to get some action on mains. Victory for Fatality.
-Fatality vs Apex FT. Clear #3 - Short and Sweet
It should come to no surprise that Apex quality has been at the bottom of the pure scene going on 2 years now but fortunately for Fatality they still think they are good and they decided to fight cleanly for once. Needless to say the squinter clan and his rape victims were quickly cleared and before Apex could pick up the phone to call mains we wiped the floor of them clearing all of Apex and their invites. Victory for Fatality.

October 2, 2021; Fatality massed up peaking at around 44 members for our weekly F2P Trip. We would like to emphasize how Fatality continues to call for pure  vs. pure fights only, and that we continue to fight with pures only in the hopes of other clans having strong enough leadership to do the same.
 
We began our trip at 13 ports, where several clans were fighting in multi. We logged in to hit Apex and Fo, who were teaming on another clan as neither could win alone using pures only. Fo was confused for most of their trip as they wore several clans' capes before remembering their was Team-30. What was once a respectable clan is now a shell of its former self, with an ego greater than their own pulls that eventually pushed them to taint their name by wearing the team capes of other clans. Please refer to the image below to observe a confused Fo member in the wilderness questioning his clan's standards as they continue to drop at the leadership of K2P and Friends™, as well as the loot pictures of other Fo members, who proudly brought the capes of Zenith and Apex at the instruction of their failed and embarrassing leadership. The names FinalOwnage and FOE-RScom bringing and wearing a green cape is nothing short of sweet irony.

After hitting these clans, we learned that several blue-caped clans were fighting in the same location just a few worlds above, so we immediately hopped over and shooed away the rats in Zenith and Terror. This week, Terror continued their trend of flaming only from the safety of their discord servers, while easily being swept by Fatality 3-0 in a F2P Prep, their stronger only server.
 
iven how fast they ran, it was difficult for our members to record screenshots to show them running away. The earliest screenshots recorded show how much they ran before any of us we were even able to screenshot. We also followed them to their regroup and reminded them the consequences of challenging at 15 year old clan, which has never once closed, for a very obvious reason.
 

 

 

 
After we regrouped ourselves, we learned of several clans fighting at west bandits. We logged in and hit Terror, Supremacy, Apex and Fo, who were again in green capes to show their submission towards other clans.
 

 

 
After these clans ran to single, we hopped out to get a regroup, only to learn that Supremacy did the same and walked back into multi in another world. You can see the screenshots below showing how they begin to run the moment our members log in. I wish clans were more interested in having clean ,1 vs. 1 pure fights, but we can see now that Supremacy is not capable of doing so.
 

 

 
Finally, we topped off our trip after regrouping by attacking Supremacy again north of the furnace, who were fighting Terror at the time. The screenshots below shows the proud Supremacy members sacrificing themselves to top off our perfect F2P PK trip.
