B-ryan Posted April 10, 2017 Report Share Posted April 10, 2017 Topic by written by Chief Jihadi Six months ago to this day, we opened our doors to the RuneScape community and began our relentless reign of terror upon the pure clanning scene. Day by day, member by member we have driven and fought our way to the top, crushing clans and rightfully claiming the title of Number 1 Last True Pure Clan. In recent weeks, we'd like to think that we've tried to take more of "backseat" in terms of our presence within the Wilderness, by this we simply mean we've attempted to try and act like less like bloodhounds and more like civilised young men, though it would seem that these efforts have been in vain if this evening's events were anything to go by. Massing an impressive 62 members and finishing with 67, today was to be a fine day indeed to see off our beloved Leader, War Hero and good friend, @Zee. Going in Guns Blazin' With our minds and hearts filled with the wise words of Zee, we took to the Wilderness eager to sink our erect stingers into anyone foolish enough to have stepped foot into the Wilderness. Having @Pug take the lead as Main Caller, our first dose of action came in the form of Doom & Rage forces fighting against one another. Charging down their ranks and swarming the remaining fighters, it was soon made apparent that we were going to be the clear dominant force during this evening's escapades. Leaving no one standing, we collected our winnings and regrouped at Edgeville for our next hit. Boneyard Brawling Immediately heading back out to the Graveyard, we pushed East into Boneyard and the surrounding area where we were met by Rage who quickly succumbed to the swarm. From this point on, calls continued to flood the Teamspeak with fresh information on more clans entering the fray. Putting out the call to pull slightly South and to the West in order to out flank the returning members and cut them off from their remaining forces, it wasn't long before a solid mix of varying coloured hats and capes from the likes of Rage, Doom, DMK, Prestige, Olympus & UB littered the Boneyard, allowing us to claim the spoils and give the Boneyard the title it rightfully deserves. Giving Doom the D Managing to fit in a quick bank break to restock on supplies, we had intel passed on in relation to the whereabouts of Doom and with their less than adequate reasons for pulling out of yet another Prep against us earlier in the week, it was an opportunity we simply couldn't miss out on. With the call being made to teleport up to Corp Beast, our forces raced to Sperm Hill where the Doom forces had amassed allowing us to unleash an unrelenting attack on the dwindling Doom members. Catching lethal clumps of unsuspecting members off guard, it wasn't long before they were reduced to nothing but tears and piles of bones, leaving but a handful of Doom's forces to waver at the bank. This harassment however was not to end here though, oh no. Working with what information we had, a quick call to mass outside of the Corp Cave was made and we awaited the arrival of Doom once more. Sure enough, their little, red hats emerged unknowingly from the cave, right into the opening arms of the Misfits Forces, allowing us to rub salt into their already open wounds. Another Nail in the Coffin As other clans began to end their trips, there was of course going to only be one way we we're going to end and that was on a high. Throughout the evening we had continued to molest and manipulate Doom to breaking point, they were now without their beloved partners Unbreakable and very much in need of some respite. Unfortunately for them, we simply weren't going to let that happen. Calling them out for a 1v1, demands were made ensuring that we were to defend or they'd end there and then. Needless to say, we'd have sooner turned up naked than allowed Doom to walk away without handing it to them one final time. Massing at the old FOG stomping grounds, our forces eagerly awaited their arrival and sure enough they arrived right on time. Attacking from the East side, a hard counter-push was made directly into the Doom lines and we were immediately able to make the most of our abundance in quality members. Cutting through the Doom ranks, we were then made aware that both DMK and AAO wanted in on the action, resulting in what can only be described as an overwhelming show of force from the Misfits side, taking on all three clans and ultimately dominating the scene once again. Final Words Today's trip was undoubtedly the best trip I have ever had the fortune of attending and I'm sure many, if not all of you will agree. We came together today to show our love not only for the clan and our passion for playing, but to bid farewell (for now) to the man who made all of this possible for us, @Zee. Misfits was merely a name when I first heard about it, a few guys chilling in Teamspeak with the aspirations of doing something far greater than what many other clans could only dream of, yet here we are living the dreams of those who we savagely fuck week in, week out. We would like to give a massive thanks to everyone who turned up tonight for making this trip as good as it was, as well as Vape Chief and Buckshot for their very generous contributions in the drop party and most importantly Zee for making this all possible.
