Before you read I would like to thank every clan that made it possible to rekindle the 1 Def Pure Scene.  All of the clans Doom fought to make RS enjoyable for me and Doom.

It's been a long time coming but I believe it's time for me to shut Doom's doors forever.
 
When I first started Doom back in 2015 it was the perfect time to start a clan because the F2P Wildy was extremely active with a lot of clans competing every day in W308.  Myself and others grew Doom to the point where we were hands down the strongest LPC for a whole year.  We held the belt for # 1 and # 1 matched in our scene and nobody could argue.  We were so good in our current scene we moved to the HPC Scene where the top dogs were.  We weren't the best but we definitely competed with the top until we lost interest and decided to close Doom down because we just didn't find RS attractive being maxed 39 def pures.  A few months after closure we decided to rekindle our community and bring the pure community to light by making 1 def pures and start to thrive the LPC scene once again.  For the first few months it was a blast having some nice fights w/ Fearless and fighting other clans in scene for awhile.  Sadly with reopening Doom the second time our core that we once had was simply not active enough to continue being a strong force in the current scene.  We did everything in our power to recruit new people into the scene but with some internal issues within the staff team and some members we sadly disbanded causing Doom to start from scratch which just isn't something myself and the rest of the staff we have left in Doom can do being the ages we are and life commitments we must take.  With reopening Doom I do not have any regrets because we had the fun that we wanted on this game which is all that matters.  We just feel that it would be better for the members and the people that still enjoy playing RuneScape on a daily basis to continue their clan careers in other clans if they would like.  We will still have a community discord to keep in touch of course.  Thank you to all of the Doom members that stayed till the end even with all of the drama we had towards the end.  You guys are the true MVPs.
 
I would like to wish everybody the best of luck with whatever endeavors you guys come across in life.

Today Final Ownage Elite fought Eruption of Pures in a F2P Prep. After a lucky first round for EOP, we pushed them around and dictated the fight in the next two rounds to take the victory and revenge for our last F2P encounter.

On this glorious saturday, Rage massed up 75 bears peaking at 79 for our weekly F2P Trip with only one goal in mind, taking #1 today.

Safe to say, we completed our operation and took the #1 spot. We had atleast 45 minutes of pure dominance.

To Eop/Tannie, Rage hasn't used a single main since our move into the lpc scene. Neither have you Eop, before this trip. But Whatever you decide to do,we as a clan intend to keep it clean and 1--5def only. Don't blame this on anyone else.

 



 

Part 1

 

We started off our fantastic trip by rushing Eop at ca up 5. We gained a bigger lead , eventually pushing them to ghost hut to corp where they had 35 to our 70. 

Cd decided to rush us with 70 opts. With us being low and pray and food we dragged out the fight, got all our returns back in and completly dominated them leaving them in singles with 27 people left. Those clan friends won't save you lol.

 

Part 2

 

As soon as CD dipped, we moved back on corp hill where we found Eop and Foe fighting. We hit both clans to the south, Foe ran to single and Eop ran to ca. We chased on Eop. For the next 20~ minutes we fought Eop from ca-corp-18s-ca , being up opts for 95% of the fight untill they eventually ran west to graves.

 

Part 3

 

We logged into Foe west of 26 hills, the fight started matched. We slowly gained a lead with some superior movements untill both CD and IR tried to crash it. With us having more then all clans we dominated them untill all clans moved it to single.

 

Part 4

 

For the remainder of our trip we fought both Foe and Eop and different spots. The first fight was north of mossies where Eop rushed us, Foe instantly crashed the fight. We positioned ourselfs well and took less then no damage. Eop ran east so us and Foe fought untill Sup crashed it & foe ran to single.

 

For the next fight, we rushed Foe South of ghost hut. Shortly after the fight started Eop crashed it. We dominated both clans , pushing them from hillz hut all the way to corp untill we saw to much blue armor.

 

The next fight was vs Foe north of sperm. After an even start, we started to gain a lead, held a +10 lead untill Eop crashed it.

 

Shortly after, we rushed Foe and Eop at hillz gap. Foe ran to single so we fought Eop.

We we're down a few people untill their mains logged in, giving them a +15 advantage. We moved it south where we started our aggresion with constant scimpushes. After IR crashed the fight again, we were up 20+ on them. Gf lmao

 

Our last tussles where vs Foe and IR at fog untill all clans eventually ran to single.

 

Overall a fucking fantastic trip, lots of sick action. Rage #1 bb

Alright, so I'm picking up where I left off. Although I did say to @@slushpuppy I'm not sure if I return he let me know that I'd be welcome back by all means. I'm pretty much back and things are getting stable again.
 
Where did I go & what happened?
Around October I left to Northern Syria/Iraq to the Kurdish controlled region. I was in a safe village away from the war and the ISIS controlled regions. It was overall a beautiful experience, and I got to meet so many different people with different races, ethnicities, views etc. all under the same roof. I got to taste what true poverty and famine feels like, and it really does put your life into perspective. You care more about what you have and learn not to be greedy. I got to play around with the children, go take some photographs, visit a few holy places, listen to the stories of many people, and at one point I got to fire an AK-47 (weapon of guerrillas). I preffered to teach the children basic science, philosophy, language and mathematics rather than how to use guns - independent thinking will give more change than a weapon can ever do. I heard a lot of bombs go off, I saw a lot of injured people and dead bodies - that was probably the most negative experience out of it all. I had to return eventually because my visa was only good for 6 months and if I exceed those months I could not return back to the UK without filing in applications. My relatives also let me know that I could come back later if I wanted so I always have that option. I'm going to try my best and open up a little company here and send money and resources to such areas around the world to support them from a distance.
 
Am I here to stay?
From my POV, yes. I'm starting up a few projects, getting involved in a few projects and decided to return to a few communities like Sharkbrew too. As you can see I've picked up my rank again. I'm going to be working alongside slushy on hooks, themes, services for you guys e.g. exp tracker will come as a hook soon as well as more brown sticky stuff to come. I've nearly got all my things back on the computer so I think I'll be starting soon. This also means I'll be taking graphics orders soon (after I get some practice). I'll also help out with the other ranks too.
 
Am I going to be clanning or joining a clan?
For now, no. I cba with runescape anymore. Even if I have an account, I'm just tired of the game really. Maybe in the future.
I've got an account and I'm contemplating on joining Rage again. I will most likely.

After recently scraping a win against Fatality (sitting to 25 each round when Fatality had already out-pulled them by 15 LOL) CD are now extremely full of themselves, and are daring to talk brown sticky stuff to clans who are vastly superior to them. This begs the four following questions:-

 

 

1, Will CD ever pull more than 40 to a F2P prep?

 

2, Will CD ever accept a F2P prep versus Rage?

 

3, If CD were to accept a prep versus Rage, how badly would they lose?

 

4, Will CD come out of hibernation and start doing P2P Sundays again?
