With the current successful tournaments going on and them also nearing the end, we will also be hosting a pure 1v1 nh brid tournament. Anyone is allowed to enter this tournament and it will all be going down on the same day. We have some big streamers/youtubers who will also be taking part in this tournament. The tournament will be broadcasted on twitch as well to showcase our community and yourself this will be a very big event.

Failure to appear on the tournament day at the start time as well as stalling will result in the other person taking the win.
No dding under your opponent (hitting then moving to your opponents square to prevent them from attacking back)

Did something similar last time. Didn't go amazingly well. I can show you logs and all that if you'd like to see around it. I was given a few suggestions but things happened and a second event was not formulated. Timezones make some matches hard to agree on a time and several teams tried to play around the "default time" rule for free/cheap wins. Just a thought.
Getting some ranks to speak to each other was also a problem, but I believe you fixed that with a discord chan which is great.

Overview
With very successful signups for the main tournament having a total of 18 clans/teams enter I bring you the first round matchups.
Each clan/team will have 3 weeks to complete each category they have entered due to the amount of categories total that passed in the tournament.
If you don't get all your fights done within the time frame we will set a default day depending on the amount of categories you have left to complete.
Rewards
The current prize pool is 200m which will be split up between the categories and the amount may increase. There will be an update within the next week of how all the prize money will be divided between the categories. Each winner of any category will also receive a custom signature showcasing their achievement.

A lot of people enter the xLPC scene specifically for F2P, this might also get the combat cap raised as it has done before. Up to you guys though. Personally I don't find it fruitful going P2P in low combat accounts but it is your scene and you are allowed to do as you please.
COTM is already being changed, but last time we did a "You have to face everyone to win it", preps just went down. We could try it again, but with people trying to avoid certain clans atm, I don't see it working.
Overview-
The BrewCup 6v6 Tournament has finally come to an end. This tournament is the first event planned for the 2018 Miniwar Season and after a shaky start, it provided us with a very competitive event with a bit of everything. Reception of the tournament has been pretty positive, but I hope we can improve on many aspects for the next event.
The event had a total of 14 teams sign up and if I am to believe information I have been given, we might have a bigger team count for the next tournament we host.
Memberlists were locked for this tournament and they will be locked for any other event hosted by Sharkbrew. Due to problems with clan memberlists, Clan Memberlists will no longer be accepted in any Miniwar tournament.
Results from the default tournament will be used for seeding into the next Miniwar event.
All matches were best 3 of 5 with all rounds being PKRIs. PKRI rounds were received with a lot of positive comments, but this will be polled for the next event just to make sure that participants would like to repeat this system.
The topic for the next Sharkbrew Miniwar event is already in public preview. Access to the topic is limited to participants at the moment. If you would like to read the topic, just need to send me a pm. Feedback/Suggestions are welcomed.

This match was a rematch for The Boys after Round 1 in the Oldschool tournament, but FOE was still able to take the win. FOE officially won the Oldschool tournament after defeating Weedblazing 3-1 in the final. Weedblazing reached the final of the Oldschool tournament after a heavily contested match against Unbreakable in the Semis. During the match, UB used a recoil item in a few rounds which was a banned item in the tournament. After a dispute and mixed negotiations, by tournament rules, UB were consequently disqualified from the tournament.

FOE ended the BrewCup 6v6 Miniwar Tournament with a very impressive 21-3 round count (24-3 if you count the forfeit) throughout all their matches.
FOE got the first kill of the round in 16 out of 21 rounds or in 76% of the all the rounds they had.
FOE won 5 rounds in which they went down opts before finishing their first pile. (Note that this doesn’t take into consideration how fast they dropped the guy they were piling after going down in opts.)
Note-
I would like to personally thank all of the people who participated and/or have supported the event. The reception of the tournament has been very positive, although I am highly critical of several mistakes or mishaps which occured throughout the event. It had a few shaky moments, but I am hoping to improve on these mistakes for our next event. Congratulations to FOE for winning both the Default Tournament and the Oldschool Tournament. Commiserations to the teams who didn’t make it, but I wish you best of luck if you decide to participate in the next event.
