I think the fact that some of these clans pre-emptively plan on teaming on others during the weekend is the issue. It's been years since clans have been independent. 
 
I imagine one of the reason clan wars is pretty dead and most seem scared of it is because people like k2p can't slide into cookies dm and put the siren on during a cwa fight. Hopefully clans will start working on their own, and also decide to drop the excessive mains and vennies in the near future.

Many times with the current clan leaderships, what the ranks are telling their members and what's actually going on behind the scenes are two very different things.

When two of the largest clans, some of the med pulling clans, and more are all off each other, it reduces action for everyone involved, especially those allied with each other who refuse to fight.
The fo leadership leaks were pretty telling. Do you agree with the new reliance on allies that the scene has had lately?

















 
Having 3-4 clans constantly "off" each other during trips refusing to fight leads to events like these:

 
If you're a member of FO/Z/A I encourage you to question your leadership about the amount of teaming going on. Ask them why their alliances are more important than action on trips....

Unfortunately a topic was posted today describing clan ranks threatening their members against leaking. As much as leaking your own clan locs for gp is reprehensible, using doxing as a threat for in-game related misbehavior should not be tolerated by community members and clans. Not only does these threats reflect badly on your clan, but these sort of behavior would make pure clanning unappealing to new recruits who may want to adopt Pure clanning.
If you are a victim of such threats, feel free to drop a DM to any of Sharkbrew high ranks. In the past we have helped people mitigate some of the fallout that could come from Doxing. We hope that entire community can put aside differences to discourage these sort of behavior
