slushpuppy
Inspite of having clanned since 2009, I am still confused as to why trip times are in the afternoon. It seems to be the worst possible timing for everyone where: GMTers have to go to bed Aussies have to rise incredibly early 6-8AM Americans burn the afternoon of their weekends If there are some other explanation behind these timings, I like to hear. *It would be impossible to reconcile weekdays as all of us got work/school.and mericans still constitute the majority of pure clanning player base Fudog

ultama
What other time would you have it? because it's always going to be extremely early and extremely late for two timezones. I just think people have normalised it over the years and got used to it. ST Ants, Fliby and NL_Ronald

Early afternoon for GMT(they can still go out later) Around 11-12PM for AESTers(after they back from drinking) Frees up the afternoon for Americans

Atleast the previous times made it easier for GMT people with jobs If I recalled, mercians who have to work suffer as well under the current timings. I see the current timings penalizing 2 timezones instead of spreading the burden out evenly It's also the weekend, not sure how things work in UK but for most weekends job in my country are over subscribed meaning that you don't get to clock in every weekend

Definitely, on a weekday it is nearly impossible to accommodate for all. I'd say keep the std timings for fridays, make the changes for sat/sun @ Maybe if you freed up your afternoons, more americans will come?
